CONVERSE
Our intended audience for this project was fairly wide. Primarily we wanted to target younger people with the pace of the commercial and the product itself, however I believe it's eye catching to older generations too.
The intended goal of this project is to sell Converse with fast paced visuals and visually interesting effects. This was one of three commercials created for our filmmaking capstone, where we made an entire campaign for a product.
Social media was selected for the project's intended audience due to its fast pace. This, coupled with its visual elements, makes it ideal to get someone to stop scrolling and continue watching the whole way through.
I'm Brennan Mahokey. I conceptualized these commercials, directed them, and edited them. That said, my group was paramount in helping execute the vision by making the props, helping shoot, organizing equipment and locations, recording audio, and starring in them.
